The Program is seeking applications for aConstruction Monitorfor the Partnership based in Kupang and NTT Districts. This is the key supervisory and review position for the construction program of the AIPMNH and will - in conjuntion within the AIPMNH staff - be responsible for the quality outcomes of the construction program being carried out in 21 rural and district locations in Nusa Tenggara Timur Province. The Position Inthis roleyou will work closely with the Puskesmas Construction team at AIPMNH to ensure successful completion ofthe building and renovation program and ensure thatthe recommendations made to the program design are carried out in the field.You will be required to make a number of visits to Kupang and the construction locations to monitor construction quality and adherence to both International/Australian as wellas Indonesian Building Standards as appropriate and as directed by AusAID for civil works including environmental mechanical and electrical standards. Knowledge of earthquake resistant design and construction will be well-regarded. The Person To be successful for this role you will be degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering and demonstrate substantial experience managing and leading teams in construction or renovation works particularly in rural parts of Indonesia. Communication and interpersonal skills risk management expertise as well as ability to work with local communities is essential. Critical to this role is working knowledge of CAD and prossession of a current membership of a national professional engineering society/institution. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential and Bahasa Indonesia language skills are necessary.
